Doug’s Toy Box was born from people that refuse to stop playing with their toys. Collecting of some sort has existed for generations, whether it is toys, coins, music, trading cards, video games, or some other medium. We hope to fill some of the gaps in your collection.

What’s the best way to ship?

We highly recommend shipping via US Priority Mail, especially if prompt delivery and order tracking is important to you. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for items shipped First Class. We have experienced numerous issues with orders being late or damaged when shipped via First Class, especially to locations outside the United States. We have had orders shipping to Europe take up to eight weeks to arrive when shipped First Class. If you choose this method, please be extremely patient in waiting for your order to arrive.

When is the last day to order for Christmas delivery?

Orders within the continental USA must place orders by December 17 to ensure delivery before Christmas. We highly recommend Priority Mail. If you are ordering for delivery outside the USA, please order by December 14 and choose Priority Mail at checkout.

How do I return an item?

Many of our items are extremely limited or the final one in stock and that will be clearly stated in the product’s description. Some items cannot be exchanged because of the limited quantity or stock. If you need to return an item, please email for a return authorization number. We cannot accept any apparel items that have been laundered and have had the tags removed. We cannot accept returns on underwear. Buyers pay all return shipping. We highly recommend shipping returns with a track-able shipping method to ensure delivery. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Trading Card Policy

Trading card condition is something that we take very seriously. We provide the highest quality images and detailed information about each product for you to make a confident purchase. All trading cards are packaged securely and safely. Our staff films the shipment packaging process for quality assurance purposes before your card leaves our facility. Trading card items valued at $50.00 USD and higher will be shipped with insurance.

We do have an “All Sales Are Final” policy on trading cards. On occasion, we will accept returns under limited circumstances. Preapproval for a return must be requested and agreed upon by our staff to initiate the return process.

A return request may be made within 7 days of delivery. Any trading card returns must be returned to us with insurance equal to the purchase price of the product with a postmark within 7 days of return approval.

What customs fees might I expect for international delivery?

Buyers are responsible for paying all import and customs fees to your home country. We are required to declare all orders as “merchandise,” and any fees your country charges to import merchandise from the United States are your responsibility to pay. We cannot list items purchased as “gift,” so please do not ask us to do so.

A note to EU buyers: Beginning July 1, 2021, US sellers have the option of collecting Value Added Tax (VAT) before shipping to the EU. Due to the administrative fees involved, our company has opted not to collect VAT at time of purchase. You will be responsible for any VAT due when your package arrives in your country.

You are also responsible for responding to your local post office when your package arrives, as it may not be delivered until the VAT is paid. If you do not pay the VAT in a timely manner, this may result in your package being rejected and shipped back to the USA.

A note to UK buyers:  We have suspended shipping to the United Kingdom due to a change in the way that the UK is handling Value Added Tax (VAT) beginning in 2021. The UK now requires USA sellers to collect VAT and pay an additional administrative fee to process orders to the UK. We are unable to ship to the UK until we have obtained a VAT registration from the HMRC.

Can I retroactively use or apply a coupon code?

No. Once your order is placed, we cannot apply a coupon code. You must apply the code yourself before checkout. There are several ways to find codes including subscribing to our email newsletter, visiting and following our social media accounts, and special codes made for holiday sales.
